Angelo Sison

Angelo is a counselling intern under the supervision of Solline Abenhaim-Feld (OPQ, CCPA) and is working towards completing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at McGill. Angelo currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies, and Honours B.A. in Psychology. Over the last 5 years, Angelo has provided case management, behavioural and life skills training, and therapeutic crisis intervention for disadvantaged youth and adult offenders. Angelo is passionate for helping clients reach their potential and living a meaningful and purposeful life. He emphasizes promoting client’s strengths and inner resources, improving self-worth, and personal development.
Angelo works with a culturally appropriate integrative approach focusing on the clients’ cognitions, emotions, and behaviour. He reinforces the importance of the therapeutic relationship, collaborating with clients, and providing a nonjudgmental, affirmative environment.
