Ariane Frechette

Ariane is a counselling intern under the supervision of Nadine Gharios, a licensed psychotherapist. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. She also completed a B.A. in Psychology and worked for many years acquiring experience in the mental health field. She has worked with different age groups, from children to adults, and provided support to individuals suffering from various mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. She is mainly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but follows a multimodal approach in treatment.

Her goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental and empathetic environment for clients. She focuses on individuals’ strengths and resources in order to better assist them in their mental health journey. She has a passion for helping others and supporting them through life difficulties (e.g., stress, relationship issues, low self-esteem, work/school stress, etc.).
