Katelon (she/they) is a counselling intern from McGill University, who is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology under the supervision of Nadine Gharios. She takes a client-centered approach to therapy and draws on a variety of theories and interventions to best meet each client’s unique needs and goals. She creates a warm and secure therapeutic space where clients can safely explore the roots of their anxiety and depression, develop tools to manage day to day challenges, and practice new skills. She helps clients improve their self-esteem, self-worth, relationship skills, and emotional regulation. She is particularly interested in supporting people who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and individuals practicing ethical non-monogamy / polyamory. She also welcomes clients from any and all walks of life.
