Sara is a counselling intern, under the supervision of Emily Scott, and is working towards completing her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill university and is a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Sara also has over three years of experience working in crisis intervention and has obtained several certifications including the AQPS/SOFEDUC suicide prevention training.
Sara has a passion for helping others by promoting a therapeutic environment that is nonjudgmental, safe, and empathic. Sara likes working with a diverse population who seek support for a variety of needs including anxiety disorders and mood disorders. She strives to promote the wellbeing of her clients through a multimodal approach to treatment.
