Taylor Zidel

Friendly, gentle, and currently completing her Master’s in Counselling with Yorkville University; Taylor Zidel is eager to apply everything she’s learned towards the benefit of her clients through her role as Counselor in Training at The Montreal Center for Anxiety and Depression. Prior to this, she gained fundamental skills and knowledge through her BA in Psychology (Concordia University) and diverse lived experiences.

Taylor has always had a passion for mental health and seeks to ensure that her clients feel safe and supported in her presence. She understands that seeking therapy can be a difficult decision and wants her clients to know that their best interests are what drive every session. She welcomes clients of all identities, communities, backgrounds, and beliefs, happy to incorporate every client’s uniqueness for the most holistic and collaborative experience.

To maximize flexibility, Taylor uses an eclectic and strength-based approach, pulling from theories such as Psychodynamic, Narrative Therapy, and CBT. She aims to validate clients, help them develop new ways of thinking, and find balance.

Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
