Julia Gerbasi works with clients to help foster any healing process and positive changes they wish to undergo, by providing a safe space free of judgment. She currently specializes in emotion regulation, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as communication difficulties. Julia takes a particular interest in LGBTQ+ support, ADHD, OCD and autism spectrum disorder.
Julia has been trained in Montreal to conduct Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. By facilitating self-exploration of thoughts, behaviours, and feelings, Julia believes that a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. She strives to help her clients become their own therapist. Julia holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and MA in Counselling Psychology. She is under the supervision of Emily Scott, licensed psychotherapist, member of OPQ.
