THE MONTREAL CENTER FOR ANXIETY & DEPRESSION Contest Rules & Regulations
To be eligible, you must be a resident of Quebec. You are not eligible if you are:
a) an employee, agent or representative of The Montreal Center for Anxiety & Depression, their respective affiliates, their subsidiaries and dealers, their advertising and promotional agencies or the suppliers of prizes and services related to this Contest;
b) a member of the respective immediate family (defined as mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and husband or wife) or household of any of the above persons.
There is no purchase necessary to enter a contest. General requirements To be declared a winner and claim the prize, the selected entrants must: Be reached by phone or mail by the Contest Organizers within seven (3) days of the winning announcement. Be eligible according to the contest rules and sign a standard liability/ release, to be sent by mail, fax or email, which must be returned, duly completed, to the Contest Organizers within three of its receipt.
All incomplete, fraudulent, and late entries will be automatically disqualified and do not give the right to a prize. The decisions made by the Contest Organizers in this regard will be final and are not subject to appeal. Failure to comply with any of the above conditions or regulations will result in the disqualification of the selected participant. In this event, a new draw from the valid entries received will be performed to award the prize and the entrant selected must be able to be reached by phone or by mail within 48 hours of the new draw, failing which, another draw will be held within a subsequent equal time frame up until such time as an official winner can be declared.
Upon receipt of the signed Declaration and Release form, the Contest Organizers will notify the winner of the manner in which he/she will be able to take possession of the prize in Montreal, at his/her expenses The Contest Organizers reserve the right to determine how the presentation of the prize will occur, and this may be either via a media event or in person.
Entry videos and electronic entries become the property of the Contest Organizers and will not be returned to entrants at any time. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants, except with the entrants selected and/or officially declared to be the winners. Any personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used only for the purpose of administering this Contest. In the event that, for reasons beyond their control and not related to the winner, the Contest Organizers are unable to award the prize as described in these rules, they will agree to substitute a prize of similar nature and of equal or greater value, or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
The Contest Organizers are released from all responsibility for:
(i) late, lost, delayed, not received, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, stolen, fraudulent or illegible entries (all of which shall be automatically void and not eligible for a prize);
(ii) failure to receive entries due to transmission failures, busy signals, and for technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, servers, access providers, hardware or software, whether originating with the sender or recipient; or
(iii) any injury or damage to any entrant’s or other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest, as well as breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer “hackers”. The Contest Organizers reserve the right to render invalid any entry and/or to cancel or modify the Contest (without individual notice to entrants) if, in their sole discretion, the Organizers determine that for any reason (such as falsification or infection by computer virus or any other cause) the Contest is not able to be held as originally planned, due to fraud, technical failures, human, printing or distribution errors, or any other causes or occurrences that have compromised the administration, safety, fairness or integrity of the Contest.
Any person entering this Contest or trying to do so by any means which go against the intention of these Rules and which would affect the chances of the other participants (examples: computer hacking, etc.) will be automatically disqualified, and the Contest Organizers reserve the right to seek recourse and damages at their discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
The Contest Organizers will not be held responsible for any harm or injury brought upon by the use of any of the prizes provided in this contest. All prizes are used at the discretion of the winners. Winners acknowledge that the only warranty applicable to the prizes is that of the manufacturer. Publicity In order to qualify for their prize, the winner must authorize the Contest Organizers to use their name, photograph and/or likeness, any statements made by them relative to the Contest, their place of residence and/or their voice, in promotional material throughout the world, in perpetuity and in any form and any medium including the Internet Acceptance of Rules and Regulations By participating in any Montreal Center for Anxiety & Depression contest, the participant is deemed to have accepted the rules as outlined above. Other contest rules may apply to specific contests with additional rules and prize outlines
Please note that contest is non transferable and has zero cash value. It is conditional on signature of liability waiver. Air and transfers are not included in this prize.
