Are there therapists available who specialize in treating anxiety, depression, or specific issues?

Absolutely! All of our therapists are specialists with intensive training in anxiety, depression, and a wide range of other challenges. No matter what you’re facing, we’re here to help.

How soon can I book my first appointment, and are evening or weekend slots available?

We pride ourselves on getting our clients in to be seen as quickly as same week Many of our clinicians offer evening and weekend sessions. Each therapist has their own schedule, and we’ll work with you to pair you with someone who can meet your availability.

What types of insurance do you accept, and how does billing work?

We don’t deal directly with insurance companies, but we’ll provide you with a receipt after each session that you can submit to your insurance provider. Depending on the clinician, the receipt may reflect services for psychology, psychotherapy, or naturopathy. To ensure a smooth process, please check with your insurance provider to confirm which type of receipt is covered and let us know when booking so we can match you with the right clinician.

Are virtual therapy sessions an option, and how do I arrange them?

Yes! We offer virtual therapy sessions through your choice of platforms, including Zoom, FaceTime, and phone calls. Just let us know your preferred option when booking, and we’ll set it up for you.

What languages do your therapists offer services in?

We’re pleased to provide services in English, French, Arabic, and Greek. If you have a preferred language, let us know so we can connect you with a therapist who speaks it.

Do you provide initial consultations to help me decide if therapy is right for me?

Yes, we do! We offer free phone consultations with our coordinators, who will take the time to understand your needs and match you with the best therapist for your situation.

What is your policy if I need to reschedule or miss an appointment?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. You can reach us at 514-777-4530 to avoid cancellation fees.

Can I choose a specific therapist, and how can I ensure the best match?

How long does therapy typically last, and how many sessions might I need?

The length and number of sessions depends on your individual goals and challenges. Cognitive Behavioural therapy which is used to treat anxiety and depression is scientifically shown to be effective very quickly (10- 15 sessions). Your therapist will work with you to create a personalized plan during your initial sessions to ensure the best approach for your journey.

What if I feel that my therapist isn’t the right fit—can I switch to someone else?

Absolutely! If you feel your current therapist isn’t the right match, we’ll be happy to help you transition to someone else. Our team includes therapists with diverse styles and approaches, so we’re confident we can find someone who’s the perfect fit for you.
